RPS: Dead Men Do Tell Tales...

Garin the Foolish groaned to himself and pulled himself up into a sitting position, only to find that was already sitting up, in a chair...

Or rather, tied to one.

His hands were fastened firmly behind his back, with what felt like chains instead of rope. Garin grit his teeth together with a grunt of displeasure and jerked forward, hoping to free his hands, but was unsuccessful. The chair had a high back, so there was no way he could simply stand up and loop his arms over the back, and the chair felt as if it were bolted to the floor as well, due to its weight.

"Damn Spanish oak..." Garin muttered to himself, then looked around. The room was dark, almost impossible to see anything, which made the feeling of being trapped all the worse for Garin.

"Ah..." said a voice from behind him. "Awake at last I see."

"Whoever you are... LET US THE BLOODY HELL OUT!!!" Jacques screamed through the small space of bars in the wooden door, shaking them angrily with his hands.

"Jacques, its no use!" Talak said from where he sat with the other members of the Black Pawkeet crew. "You've been hollerin' like that for an hour, give your voice a rest at least..."

Jacques growled and let go of the bars and walked to on side of the room, rubbing his fingers through his hair, trying to get a grip on the situation.

"How'd we get here in the first place?" he asked aloud.

"Beats me!" Jim said. "One minute we're all sleepin' in our hammocks on board the ship, the next, we're stuck in 'ere!"

"And still no sign of Garin..." Jacques said with worry. "We're all HERE but he's not... Something's up..."

"Ya think?" Talak asked. Jacques rolled his eyes.

Suddenly the sound of keys being stuck into the door's lock caused every head to turn in that direction. The door opened, and suddenly a lone figure with a sack thrown over their head was thrown into the room. Jacques ran at the door to try and escape, but it was closed and locked before he could do anything. He growled and slammed a fist against the door, then turned to look at who had just joined their ranks as the sack was removed...
