RPS: Sonic BOOM: The Same Coin...Thousands of screaming fans, night after night, flashing cameras, pushy bodyguards…“I need a break…” Emra said with a sigh, hanging her head and swishing her arms against her poofy stage costume.“It’s the last performance of the week, sweetie, you’ll be fine!” her manager, a tall, lanky weasel named Wes, said. “Speaking of your performance, we’ve got another full house! The fans are literally flocking to any showing of your latest tour!”“Not that kind of break,” Emra said as she turned. “I mean a vacation break… no concerts, no tours, no photo shoots… you know! A real break!”“Emra, honey, you’re booked for the next three weeks! With pending appointments in the week after, you’re too busy to take a break right now!” Wes protested, holding up a hand-held device. Emra sighed again.“C’mon, Wes! I haven’t been able to come up with a new song in
RPS: The Crownless King...“Load the wagon!”“Please don’t do this! If you take the rest of our food we’ll have none left for winter!”“Be quiet! This is the King’s property, therefore everything on it belongs to him!”The Granbull gnashed his teeth at the protesting villagers, frightening them back as the Pawniard soldiers continued to load the large wagon with supplies and other goods. He snorted somewhat proudly and picked up an apple from the basket, taunting the hungry villagers by taking a bite out of it and smirking when he saw the helpless looks on their faces.“We’ll be back next week for more, so have it ready!” he announced.“More?! You’ve already taken everything we have!” a Vulpix cried out.“Tis the King’s word!” the Granbull roared, causing the Vulpix to flinch. “You’d do well to obey it or pay the price!”“Here’s what I think of your offer, Buxton!
RPS: Saving for a Rainy Day...“Aw, nuts!” Sonic groaned as the rain started coming down harder, making it harder for him to see as he ran.“I told you we should have turned back sooner!” Emra shouted up to him as they ran through the trees.“I didn’t think it would be this bad!” Sonic shouted back, putting a hand over his eyes to try and see, flinching as he felt the rain trickle down his back. It was getting colder, and the wind was starting to pick up as well… he’d have to find somewhere for he and his sister to wait out the storm before they caught their death of cold.As Sonic held his hand out in front of his eyes, he could just barely make out the shape of some sort of structure ahead. A cave of some sort, he didn’t care, as long as it was dry! He reached behind him with his other hand and grabbed Emra’s wrist and put on an extra burst of speed to reach it, skidding to a stop once inside the rocky structure. It was dark inside, but it was dry,
