Moonlit Night on the Sea...

A project I made two years ago, using an old Altoids can, and various other objects.

The ship is a button I bought years ago, thinking I'd make a scarf and put the button on it, but its glued to the back of the inside of the tin.

The sky consists of some black felt that's sticky, cut into the correct shape, with small star confetti on it, and the moon is a fake pearl that had once been attacked to an old pin my grandma owned, but it fell off when she accidentally put it in the wash...

The water consists of pits of broken, rippled glass that you can buy at almost any Arts n' Crafts store, and more sticky felt. Put down the felt first, then glue the bits of glass on top of it.

This project was originally done for a Spanish Project, so it came with a poem, but I don't know where the poem has gotten to. If I find it I will post it.
