"For the last time, be my bride!" the large, male feathered reptile growled at the smaller female. He was holding up a gold crown decorated with all sorts of jewels, as if about to force it onto her feathered head, but she only withdrew from him and crossed her arms, which were really feathered wings, and glared at him.

"I told you once, twice, a hundred times, Kong! The answer is NO!" she barked. The male growled in anger and clenched his fist hard enough to nearly crush the crown, but he controlled himself and put it down on a table as he scowled at the female.

"Very well… Then I'll just have to take no for an answer… but that doesn't mean the wedding is off," he growled, then turned on a clawed heel and walking away. "Tomorrow at noon, we wed, whether you like it or not!"

He slammed the door shut and the female looked at the ground, saddened at her situation. The door, now locked, the windows already barred shut as an "extra" precaution, leaving her trapped… and the very beast who had captured her, now seeking her as his mate and empress. She had to find a way out before noon tomorrow, or she'd be forced to be that brute's wife…

The next morning, the groom was ready and dressed in the ceremonial robes their kind wore for matrimony, but the bride had not arrived yet, much to his anger. Though he tried to control himself as he walked to her room to collect her and bring her to the ceremony, he found the two guards he left there the previous night running up to him, fear on their faces.

"S-Sire, she… she's gone!! She escaped… somehow, she escaped!" they stuttered.

"What?!" he roared and pushed past them to look at the room. But sure enough, it was empty; with one of the barred windows pried loose with the very crown he had left there the previous night. He growled in anger as he peered out the window and heard his Commander walk up behind him.

"Don't worry sire, she can't have gone very far," he said. "She wouldn't dare leave Protavis!"

"Don't be too sure… If she's anything like her father… she'll do whatever she must." The Emperor growled, then turned to his Commander, a feathered snake-like creature. "Search by air and by land… Bring her back here alive and unharmed," he said as he pried the twisted crown from the bars. "I'll be joining you as soon as I have this repaired…"

"I understand my lord!" the Commander hissed, then slithered out of the room. The feathered Rex growled in anger and glared at the sky.

"You'll find I can be stubborn too, Sadira… VERY stubborn…" he hissed through his teeth.

Sadira had flown and ran for days through the mountains that surrounded her secret and ancient homeland, evading her pursuers in the mists and the winds, but she was growing weaker by the minute. She needed to find food or she would not be able to continue much longer…

And that's just what she did. She chanced on some strangers, sleeping around their campfire in the mountains, and above their fire, roasted meat. Sadira would normally never steal, but given her situation, and her starvation, she had to. She crept closer to the fire, careful not to wake the strangers sleeping all around her, then took hold of a leg of meat. She tore it off and stepped away from the fire, taking a greedy and hungry bite and wondering if she should take more for later…

"Hey! Stop there, you thief!" shouted a voice that made her shriek out in surprise. Apparently not everyone had been asleep as she had thought. She looked up and saw…
New RPS featuring new charries. And just so you know, all these characters are based off of Protoavis, or "the first bird" so the female here is an Archaeopteryx, and the evil dude is something of a cross between a T-Rex and a bird thing... Yeah, they all have feathers and they can all fly... weird concept, but still cool.

RULES:
1. Let me know if any characters are new.
2. Absolutely NO sexual communication in the Role Play! (Strong flirting is okay, but NO sex!)
3. Pay special attention to this rule. A lot of times when I Role Playing with someone, and they are using a villain, they will often leave my characters in a hopeless situation that I can’t get out of. So ALWAYS leave a window open so the Role Play can continue fairly for both of us!
4. Have fun!

(Elk is a gray ecinda, he has tan arms, and body, his gloves have spickes all around them, but he is quiet nice*

Elk:*sees Sadira completely dirty* You look like you haven't done a thing but run, do you need something?
