Background:
Matilda was born on Earth, and adopted by a normal family living in Pennsylvania, and from her first day in school, she was different. She had few to no friends all the way up to Junior High, and while walking home after a long day of being picked on, stopped by an antique shop that had just opened up. Just before she left, the old woman who owned the shop gave her an old medallion with a purple jewel in it, and told her if she ever wanted to be somewhere she could feel she belonged, to wish.

That night, Matilda made that wish, and was transported to Faerieland Castle, and the rest of what happened isn't well known. The next day she returned home to find only a few hours had gone by, and after school went back to the store… only to find it gone.

Matilda went back and forth between worlds for many years, and eventually became an Agent of the Queen, the first human to ever do so. During one mission, in fact, Matilda met Garin and his crew, and became fast friends with them. Garin even gave her the pirate name Sea Cat because of her cat-like reflexes in battle, and because she hated her real name.

To this day she's still with the crew of the Black Pawkeet, but does do her job as a Faerie Agent when she's needed… She also recently discovered that her birth mother was a Sea Siren, hence the strange draw some men seem to have to her...
