Bio: Nicole was a high school student who enrolled in a special biology program that a high tech company was supporting. One day an accident caused her to transform into a bat monster when a strange ooze mixed with bat DNA was spilled over her. She unwittingly began to wreak havoc all over town, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles started to track her down with hopes of helping her, while the owner of the company wanted to erase the evidence.
Thanks to April reporting on the situation, the police took care of the company and its owner while the Turtles were free to track Nicole down, but the ooze had affected her to the point of where she was becoming more animal than human. Donatello managed to take a sample of the mutagen that transformed her and modify it. He couldn't return her completely back into a human, but he could make her normal enough to be conscious of herself and her surroundings.
Nicole started to live with the Turtles, keeping in touch with her parents via letters and phone calls, sharing her secret with them when they came up to visit for Christmas. Being parents, they understood of course, but it was a bittersweet moment as they knew they'd be seeing less and less of their daughter over the years.
Nicole tried to train as a ninja like the other Turtles, but her large wings made her extremely clumsy in her moves, so she stuck to being aerial cover and eventually found her own technique of fighting with the others (mainly picking up foes, flying high up then dive-bombing them into the ground), which earned her the name Kamikaze.
Personality: Kamikaze is a hard-core gamer like Mikey, and really into comics. She hates it when the guys argue, because her large ears make her very sensitive to every sound, especially loud ones, but Donatello made her a special pair of ear muffs to wear when she sleeps. Kamikaze is a grease monkey, tinkering all the time with Donny, even competing with him sometimes (but just for fun). With all the time she spends with Donny, Kamikaze has developed a strong crush on him, but like any other teenage girl, is too shy to tell him about it.
