The Last Mystic

Introducing a new/old OC from the Sonic Universe... Old in the sense that I've had her for a long time, but new in the sense that this is the first time I've ever drawn her... EVER.

Meet Maya, "the Last Mystic", just as the title implies. The Mystics were once a proud people, consisting entirely of mages and sorcerers, each one possessing immense magical talent. Maya was the apprentice of one of the Five Oracles, the head Mystics of the city who acted as mentors and protectors to their people, until a great war erupted. Shortly after, the Mystics, and their great city all vanished, along with the Five Oracles... but Maya somehow survived, and is now the last of her people, guarding their secrets, their lost city, and only appearing in times of great calamity...

I had a heck of a time drawing this! Maya, and the sigil behind her, are two different drawings that I put together in Gimp. And when I first drew it, I ended up drawing Maya's eyes a little too big so I fixed that in Gimp as well... but I'm proud of the end result. I'll be posting the Sigil by itself so you can see what it looks like later, it's the seal of Maya's people.
