Coming out of meditation was something she was used to, and she had learned to be prepared for whatever the world around her held whenever she came to her senses. It could range from everything to weather to unexpected guests, and she’d experienced enough of both to at least learn to be prepared for literally anything.
Not so much these days though.
Ever since the two had started traveling together, he had always kept watch over her when she would enter into her deep, meditative states. No matter how long it took or how uneventful it was, he was there waiting when she awoke.
“Welcome back,” he greeted as he saw her shift and stretch.
“Thank you, Beelzemon.” Cleopamon said as she picked up her meditation stones and tucked them away into her bag. “How long was I in it this time?”
“About four hours,” the demon lord Digimon replied, looking at her as she joined him by the fire. “Your sessions have been getting’ shorter and s
